The Tactical drone is a great power lever because it provides additional effects in battle and noticeably supports your squads. This can be used in the Drone center level up with combat data, drone parts, components and ability chips. With our tips you can upgrade your drone faster and more effectively and avoid typical mistakes.

The combat power of your drone depends on this

The Drone combat power is a summarized value that shows how strong your drone is in combat. It is essentially made up of three components: Drone level, Capability chip and Drone components.

Drone level forms the basis: with each level, important basic values increase and you can progress to further levels.
The Capability chip brings additional effects and bonuses that make your drone noticeably stronger - often the right choice and upgrade is decisive here.
Drone components provide targeted value and performance increases across individual modules and are ideal for building on specific strengths (e.g. more damage or better support).

In addition to the three areas that directly increase your drone combat power, there is also the Battle progress. This is used for further Revaluations and further Enable chip slots or chip functions.

Increase drone level with combat data and drone parts

The Drone level is the basis for the strength of your drone and is determined in the drone center by Combat data and Drone parts increased. Combat data drive the level increase and are with every upgrade required. Drone parts are the material that is additionally due - especially on certain level steps, depending on progress.

In the drone center, you can see exactly how every upgrade works, how much combat data and Drone parts you need for the next level. The most efficient way to level up is to collect combat data regularly and plan drone parts specifically for the next important upgrade stages so that you don't get stuck unnecessarily just before a level step.

Required drone parts & combat data per upgrade (level 1-150)

So that you know what to expect, we have created an overview that shows you how many drone parts and combat data you need per upgrade level. Up to Level 150 you need Drone parts only at every 5th level (5, 10, 15, ...). The quantity increases gradually.

From level 150 it gets tougher: Then you need every single level drone parts. From level 151, for example, it is 500 per level and +100 every 10 levels (e.g. from 161 → 600, from 171 → 700 etc.)

How to collect combat data and drone parts

Combat data and drone parts are the two resources for improving your drone in the drone center. Collecting drone parts is often particularly tedious and quickly becomes a bottleneck. So that you can Combat data and Drone parts and faster, we have put together an overview of the best sources.

Improving drone components with modules

In addition to the drone level, you can also control the strength of your drone via the Drone components increase. These are six different components, which each provide their own values and bonuses. The function is unlocked from headquarters level 15.

Through the targeted Upgrading these modules your Drone combat power and you can focus your drone more strongly on damage, survival or support. The better and more advanced the individual components are, the more your troops will benefit in battle.

Component upgrades up to level 7 and from level 8

As long as your equipped components maximum level 7 you can always three components of the same level into a higher-level component.

As soon as the equipped components for the first time Level 8 the upgrade works differently: In this case, improvements are no longer by merging, but via the Research value of the respective component. With each full +1% research progress the attributes increase once. There are also extra attribute boosts for 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%.

Important:
If you increase the research value by less than 1%, you will not receive an attribute increase.

How to collect drone components

You can usually obtain drone components from Drone component chests in different Levels. The higher the chest level, the higher the component level you can get from it - so it's worth farming suitable sources. In addition to chests with random components, there are also Rare selection chests (Level 3, 4 and 5).

Combat progress for improvement and chip abilities

In addition to drone level, skill chip and components, there is the Battle progress as an additional development area. You will work with Combat progress XP cards and Chips Progress on a bar - if it is filled, your drone rises a level and becomes stronger. How to collect battle progress XP cards

Chips and XP cards for battle progress you get above all from weekly recurring Sources. Chips often come from stores (VIP, Alliance and Honor Shop), reward chests, events (zombie invasion or ghost missions). XP cards usually come from the same sources and in addition often from PvE content (examination of the general) and Milestone rewards, because they directly increase the drone's progress bar.

Upgrade tactical drone with ability chips

With the ability chips, you can give your drone Additional effects and bonuses give. In total there are Up to four troop chip sets, we recommend At least one set of chips per troop type to use. The individual chip sets are unlocked step by step as the battle progresses.

Upgrading and producing chips

With SSR and UR chips you have two rarity levels at your disposal. To become stronger as quickly as possible, you should Collect the same chips and your Upgrade chip set immediately. A change from SSR on UR is only worthwhile if the UR chip actually more fighting power than your current SSR chip.

The quickest way to make progress is to use the chip lab with chip material to produce chips in a targeted manner and additionally so many Chip chests as possible.

Tips and tricks for leveling the tactical drone

To make your drone stronger as efficiently as possible, you can find practical tips for leveling here:

Collect drone parts as early as possible, even if you don't need them now - they almost always become a bottleneck later on.
Acquire weekly all available drone parts in the Allianz Shop and Campaign Shop, if your resources allow it.
Level your drone on Monday with Combat data and drone parts, to gain additional points in the VS duel.
Open skill chip chests on Monday, so that you can VS points get.
Open drone component chests on Wednesday, to secure the corresponding VS points.
Use the chip lab, in order to produce missing skill chips, instead of just hoping for chance.
Collect identical chips strategically and use chips that you don't need for the Battle progress your drone.
Set Selection chests for drone components to get exactly the component you need for the next Level/upgrade step missing.
Use for Each troop receives uniform capability chips (tanks, aircraft and rocket vehicles).
Replace as soon as possible SSR chips through UR capability chips, if their increase in fighting power is greater.
