The "Rare earth war" in Last War Survival is a particularly hard-fought event in which players compete for the raw material rare earths. In two divided factions - Rebels and gendarmerie - alliances battle across servers for the rare resource. The following information and tips will help you prepare perfectly for the event and get ahead of other alliances.
That is the goal of the war for rare earths
Over a period of four weeks, in each case on two fight days (Wednesday and Saturday), the two factions compete against each other in the battle for the raw material rare earths. The event allows additional quantities to be captured, which are included in the final season ranking and ultimately determine the place for the season reward.ย
On the total eight days of fighting (two per week), the goal of the attackers is to destroy the alliance furnace of an opposing alliance and thus plunder a certain percentage of the rare earths. The defenders have the task of securing their furnace - either independently or with the support of allied alliances.
Fractional drawings
In the third week of Season 2 the 200 alliances with the most collected rare Earths within a war zone in two fractions divided. 4 servers belong to each faction Gendarmerie and rebels to. The course of the war for rare earths

Declarations of war
After the allocation of factions, alliances can send declarations of war to other alliances at the beginning of the fourth week. Please note the following when submitting a declaration of war:
- War can only be declared on one alliance at a time.
- There can only be alliances in the same ranking group war will be declared on rare earths.
- An alliance can be formed by Maximum of three alliances at the same time the War to be declared.
- During the 24-hour declaration phase, the war target can be changed at any time.
Invitation of allies
If war has been declared on an alliance by several alliances, the alliance can invite additional allies from its own faction. In principle, the following applies:

Preparation
In this phase, the war between attacker and defender is confirmed. Once the preparation phase begins, the alliance furnace can no longer be teleported. After the 30-minute countdown, the decisive war phase begins.
War
When the war begins, the defending alliance's furnace can be attacked. Please note the following:
- The duration of the war phase varies depending on the number of attacking and defending alliances.
- Only when all defenders in the furnace have been defeated do troops attack the furnace's durability and inflict damage.
- During the war phase, the Alliance Furnace cannot be teleported or repaired.
- If the alliance oven is destroyed before the countdown expires, the attacker wins.
- During the war, players on both sides can collect points through eliminations and heals and receive additional event rewards.
- The duration of the war is 40 minutes if the number of attackers and defenders is identical (1:1/2:2/3:3).
- If the defenders are fewer than the attackers, the time is reduced to 30 minutes and the reward is doubled if the defense is successful.
- If there are two more attackers, the attack time is reduced to 20 minutes and the defenders' reward is tripled.
End of the war
Rewards are allocated based on the outcome of the war. If the number of defending alliances is lower than the number of attackers, up to three times the reward can be claimed. In addition, all players receive a reward for kills regardless of the outcome.Warlord can fire missile at alliance furnace
The Alliance Warlord has a special role: as the attacker, he can fire a missile at the defenders' Alliance Furnace. After activation, it takes 180 secondsuntil the firing takes place. During this time, the warlord is an open target for all opponents on the server and his location is also published in the world chat. If the warlord flees from his position, the missile is blocked for the next war.ย
Missile contaminates land
If the rocket hits its targetthe land within a radius of 25 x 25 fields contaminated. In addition, 30,000 durability damage is dealt to the Alliance Furnace. All bases in this area are randomly teleported somewhere on the world map - with the exception of the Warlordswho are in this area. All players who teleport into the mud in front of the furnace cannot use a shield, as in the battle for the Capitol, and are vulnerable to attack by everyone.
Requirements for using the rocket:
- The warlord must be on the same server.
- The target must be in the catchment area of the opposing alliance furnace.
- The warlord may not change location (flee or destroy the base) after the start countdown of 3 minutes.
- If the warlord moves, the missile function is disabled for 72 hours.
- Several missiles from different alliances may be fired in the vicinity of the stove.
Strategies for attackers and defenders
There are various ways to win the battle against the opposing faction Strategies for attack and defense of the alliance furnace. While defenders need to coordinate closely with other alliances on their own server, attackers should choose their target carefully in advance.
Preparation of the defense
Even if there is no declaration of war yet, alliances must prepare for the defense of their stove in advance. This begins with the strategic positioning on the world map. To reduce the chance of declarations of war, there should be no gaps in the defense and the furnace should be strategically positioned. To minimize the attack surface, the alliances should retreat to the edge of the map. The best locations for defense are:
- In the four upper cornersย
- In the middle of the playing field at the bottom (behind the mountain)
Preparation of the attack
Before a declaration of war, the attacker should have all alliances in the opposing ranking group and decide which destination is most suitable. The following points must be taken into account to make a good decision:
- Combat power of the target: Is the alliance suitable for a victorious attack?
- Reward in rare earths: The amount of rare earths in a victory.
- Strategic positioning: Is the Alliance entrenched or does its furnace offer a large attack surface?
- Support: If I declare war more than once, do I have to expect support from a strong alliance?
- Rocket: Can I or must I use the rocket and does the opponent receive support from his server in the mud?
Once the decision has been made, war can be declared on an alliance and a start can be made on securing good battlefields near the target.
